" I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me;  I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me; whenever you did this for one of the least brothers of mine, you did it for me ! " (Matthew 25 : 35,36,40)

Rehabilitation Homes for the Least and the Lost

picture1j.jpg

A dying old man lying on the roadside under the scorching sun, having a few food packets given to him in charity, unable to get the last drop of water onto his tongue, is waiting for a helping hand before closing his eyes. Who would dare to pour those last drops into his mouth?

A young man with his head down cast, sitting on the divider of a highway, misunderstood to be a drug addict, really the victim of a severe sun stroke. Who will care to shelter him?

A fatally wounded and mentally challenged women, fallen into a roadside ditch, thinks it to be a happy fate to be buried there. Who will help her in her dying moments?

FBA (The Friends of the Birds of the Air) is a charitable organisation which rehabilitates the least and the lost people who suffer on the pavements and streets, either wandering about like birds or dying miserably like dogs.

Also people who are in crisis of depression, those addicted to smoking, drinking and drugs, those with behavioural problems or suicidal tendencies, those in the clutches of vice or the possession of the devil, can avail of the help offered by FBA through counselling and prayers.

FBA has gained the goodwill and friendship of several social workers, police officers and the public. The kind-hearted wise people, who draw lasting happiness by serving the poorest of the poor, come forward, offering land and the basic facilities required for such a noble service.

The present  units of FBA in A.P. are such gifts, entirely supported by the people and not by funding agencies.
